I have found that when a person vollunteers their time in their community, at the local food bank, library, United Way, etc... It is easier to get help getting back on ones feet. Your self esteem increases, and you make great connections. People see that you are a great worker and a great person..Try it......

My family needs help and would not ask for help on the web with out exausting all resourses first. It took a lot of guts to get to this point, of asking, it is embarrassing, to say the least, humbling.
At times even in professional organizations, people are refused help. Crooked cops, and incompetent professionals, and limited resourses with excessive families in need can and does at times create professional rudeness, and inhumane teatment. I to used to look through rose colored glasses, until I exsperianced the pain of rejection of human error, of incompetance, from the professionals insecurity, jeliousy, or what ever, this is humanity and it is not allways nice. Just because the Salvation Army and others are supposed to be nice they some times have people working there with problems, which in turn hurts others. I am sure and have exsperianced others using people kindness, and that taking advantage of others kind nature exists, however most people who ask for help need it, and if they say they can not get help other places who are we to judge.
