I have found that when a person vollunteers their time in their community, at the local food bank, library, United Way, etc... It is easier to get help getting back on ones feet. Your self esteem increases, and you make great connections. People see that you are a great worker and a great person..Try it......

Hi Sands, I’m glad that it worked out :-). During the installation, in order to receive registration from the server, for both products (Federal Money Retriever and GrantGate) you need to be online. After the successful installation you may use them offline, but I would recommend - at least once a month use them online. Both products are updated automatically over the Internet and they are checking for new updates on the first start every day. So, if you start them at least once a month while you are online, you will be up to date. GrantGate’s database is rather large and only partially on your computer. All the IRS reports are on the server. As I mentioned you may use GG offline, but if you would like to see a particular IRS report you have to be online. And one final suggestion – use both products in conjunction with aidPage. Both products provide easy way to search and manage lists. However, the data on aidPage is updated more frequently. FMR contain all of the government programs and they are updated twice a year, as they are changed by the congress. The actual grants and loans for these programs are updated daily on aidPage (see the first link below). The same thing is true about the IRS reports in GG. Once you identify the list of organization that are of interest for you, I would recommend to find them on aidPage (see the second link below) and to check for latest IRS reports – you may find a newer one online.
